I heard this diet through my co worker, he's been trying this diet for 2 weeks now and even I can see some changes. This book helped me a lot in understanding this type of diet and its difference form Atkins diet, it's not just a recipe book, there's more to it than that. From planning meals to maintaining this diet more than 30 days, this book will provide you information for that! The recipes looked great, I can't wait to try them specially the salads! 😍 I hope I can do this diet challenge successfully! ☺️❤️

Great cookbook. Even if you do want to follow a Paleo diet, each recipe in this book. My sister and I were trying to start Paleo and we were struggling. I like this book because it gives 30 days worth of meal prep and exercise to assist with weight loss and control.
Great book for everyone who are starting with diet and healty life styl. This book is not just a diet meal plan. It is more than that. You can find a lot of informations. How to start, what to eat, when to eat and how to plane your everyday meal plan. Simply love it!
I'm concerned that I couldn't find the publisher and that there are definite misprints throughout the book. Nobody could possibly mean to use 1/4 cup of Ground Cumin, a 1/4 cup of cayenne pepper, and a 1/4 cup of black pepper when you're only using a 1/4 cup of chicken. It makes me wonder about the validity of the other recipes.
The paleo diet, however, avoids these pitfalls because the focus of paleo is not merely the reduction of carbs but also the refinement of the actual nutrients that we put into our body. Before you do anything else, when you are starting on a paleo diet, the first thing on your list; should be a shopping list. You don’t have to be utterly systematic with this, just as long as it fits in the basic parameters of a paleo-centric lifestyle. People are often surprised to find out that peanuts are a legume and not a part of the nut family at all. Dieting is hard enough without having to struggle to put your meals together. This is precisely why diet programs like Jenny Craig are so successful because they do that part of the work for you. Thanks for the creator. Useful guide!
This was a poorly written - probably self published description and recipes of the paleo diet. For the price paid, it was certainly not worth it. There were many grammatically incorrect sentences, and the black and white photos make the food very unappetizing. It was a mistake to have purchased this book.
Very disappointed with this. There is no indication of the number of servings for the recipes. I take it that most are for one serving and then suddenly a recipe requests 3# of ground meat -- for one serving?? Or how can one use 1/4 cup of coconut oil for a 2 egg omelet that also has bacon in it? Yikes! That is a lot of oil!! The black and white pictures of the food are also very unappetizing. Could have been so much better!
Like most Americans, I'm trying to lose weight. I make an effort to eat healthy, organic foods. I knew a little about the Paleo diet, but I wouldn't know where to begin. Not only does Sarah lay out the diet in simple, clear language, but she builds a strong case for why it's so important for us to get back to basics when it comes to the food we eat. I never before realized how much this kind of diet could impact my health - with benefits ranging from better digestion... fewer allergies... weight loss.. and so much more.

The author doesn't only explain what the Paleo diet involves, but she also gets you started by providing recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even desserts. Plus, she gives you some tips and motivators to make transitioning to a Paleo diet as easy and pain-free as possible.

After reading through this book, I feel extremely motivated to give the Paleo diet a try. It could be my answer to getting back into my skinny jeans again - and feeling healthier and more energetic.
